Got this device upon OWL social media team recommendation, who guided me keeping in view our business requirement/tech set-up. While, between initial contact and final procurement, the

Positives:
1) The printer looks snazzy new - doesn't give an idea of a "refurbished" product.
2) While the printer setup had minor hiccups, it started running from the get-go, almost instantly.

Areas of Improvement:
For non-tech savvy people, OWL POS should ideally make how-to videos and also cover possible problems. The printer wasn't detecting on android at first (iOS instantly detected it) but being a geek, I figured it that when all else fails reboot everything and it worked.

It may also help, if they can suggest an ideal network usage for the printer, since due to network load, some receipts are not printed timely. Some tips and tricks on the same may help create better customer satisfaction.

Plugged this printer into the power and router and square app found it right away on the network. we were printing receipts within 5 minutes of unpacking! very easy setup
